Reflection of Best Practice following appraisal.

Great to have an appraisal and receive some real feed forward that I can work with. Sometimes it's not until someone else points something out that you notice it. A classic example of this to create more of a transparent system with some of my follow-up activities so that the children know when they are achieving their success criteria.

I think my appraiser, who shall remain nameless, was a bit taken back by the level of noise that I allow during my guided sessions. I'm not too fazed by this, as long as the noise that is being made is productive noise. Also being a bit deaf helps to not get annoyed by the noise level!! Maybe that's why I am a bit deaf!

I need to continue to try to think about what equipment I can use to increase engagement in a guided situation.

Another interesting point that I hadn't picked up on is the fact that I don't turn my modelling book around often enough so that the children can see it the right way around.

Some good things to think about.
